Ursula Anderson
Ursula Anderson is a Ph.D. student in the School of Psychology and a Research Associate at TECHlab, Zoo Atlanta. She received her B.S. in Animal Behavior (2000) from Bucknell University and her M.S in Psychology (2003) from Georgia Institute of Technology. Her areas of research are comparative psychology and animal behavior with specific emphases in numerical competence, tactile learning, manual lateralization, and human-animal interaction. She was awarded the Grosswirth-Salny Scholarship (2004) from the Mensa Education & Research Foundation, the Grant-in-Aid of Research (2004) from the Sigma Xi, the Regents’ Opportunity Fellowship (2003) from the University System of Georgia, and the Early Career Research Development Award (2001) from Georgia Tech’s School of Psychology. After obtaining her Ph.D., she plans on continuing her research in a postdoctoral or teaching position.
