Jabulani Barber

I am currently finishing my second year of graduate study of Inorganic Chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  I have joined the group of Dr. Lawrence Bottomley, with a research focus in carbon nanotube modification of scanning probe microscopy.  This focus stems from previous research opportunities and internships during my undergraduate careers at Morehouse and Georgia Tech.  I entered into the dual-degree engineering program between Morehouse College and Georgia Institute of Technology in pursuit of undergraduate degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering.  Currently my research spans chemistry, material science, and mechanical engineering in the design and characterization of nanotube modified scanning probe tips.  In addition to this research, I am also a residential community manager for graduate housing.
