Jacqueline Fairley

 

 

Ms. Jacqueline A. Fairley is currently a Ph.D. candidate and GEM fellow in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering under the advisement of Dr. George Vachtsevanos.  A native of Kansas City, Missouri she obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and minor in Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 2002.  Presently her research focuses on the investigation of novel methods for automatically characterizing the sleep process as a continuum.  The latter is explored utilizing signal processing and control theory.  Her career goals include the attainment of an academic position at a research oriented institution and consulting.   She considers community involvement to be a high priority and volunteers her tutorial services once a week at a local area elementary school.
