Monique Hite
Monique C. Hite is a doctoral candidate in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering with major concentration in structural engineering, mechanics, and materials and a minor in Seismology. Monique received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2000 and 2002, respectively. She conducts large-scale experimental bridge testing to evaluate the performance of steel bridge pedestals under low seismic loads. Her specific research interests include structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, seismic resistant design and analysis of bridges. She is a recipient of the GEM Ph.D. Fellowship, PBS&J Scholarship, and is currently an Office of Naval Research (ONR) Future Faculty Fellow.
