Clyde Lettsome
Clyde received his undergraduate in Electrical Engineering, and masters’ degrees in Engineering Management and Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology 1996, 1998, and 1999 respectively. While working on his master’s degree in Engineering Management he worked for Sigma Electrical and Environmental Engineering as a digital engineer programming microcontrollers used for training simulators. He later joined the Telemetry group at Computer Sciences Raytheon, where he worked on the military side of the space program. His duties included the maintenance of antennas used for launch and tracking of space systems. After leaving Computer Sciences Raytheon Clyde worked at Rockwell Collins where he worked as a DSP and digital engineer programming DSPs and FPGAs for complex avionic systems such as VHF-radios, and ILS. In addition, he designed an analog Marker Beacon for the GNLU-9X5 series and did some redesign on the GNLU series. In 2002, Clyde obtained his professional engineering license in Florida. Clyde is currently working on a PhD. in Electrical Engineering. His research area is DSP and his research interest is image processing using filter banks.
