Robert Williams
Robert Williams Jr. received a NASA scholarship and majored in Chemical Engineering at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, FL. There he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2001 with highest honors. Robert was then awarded the GEM Consortium Graduate Fellowship to pursue a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering and Georgia Institute of Technology. Upon completion of his Master’s degree in 2003, Robert entered the doctorial program and was awarded several prestigious fellowships including the National Science Foundation (NSF) graduate research fellowship, the Georgia Tech Presidential Fellowship, and the Facilitating Academic Careers in Engineering and Science (FACES). Presently, Robert’s research includes modeling steady-state and transient fuel cell behavior as well as reaction kinetics and formulation of oxygen reduction mechanisms on mixed ionic electronic conductors (MIEC).
